From Camerautomata:
The ‘Camerautomata’ is a project by Taeyoon Choi at the artist in residency at the Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology. The ‘Camerautomatas’ are a ‘Image-Technology’ device for intervention in public space. It is constructed by hacking automatic electronics (digital camera/ portable printer/ motorized decoy/ roomba/ etc) and microprocessor, to enable digital camera to take pictures on its own without human interruption. It is partly inspired by ‘Defecating Duck’ by Jacque de Vaucanson.
